| Pure Holstein, from an exceptional
lineage. He is available for Belgian stallion service. Landaris is
noted for both his sire's lineage as well as the dam's lineage. Producer
of the Olympic Champion Classic Touch who has become a legend under Lutger
Beerbaum in 1992 in Barcelona.
Landaris' sire is the legendary Landgraf I, one of the best
German top-class stallions since World War II. He has a total winnings
of over 62 million BEF in his career, he is most definitely in the elite of
German horses.
He has produced many fantastic show jumping horses. The World Cup held
in Stockholm (1990) saw four of his offspring: Landlord, Lanciano, Libero and Louis. The
latter two also took parts in the Seoul Olympic's (1988).
Landaris' dam is an offspring of Caletto II (son of Corde "Sieger
stallion") who unfortunately disappeared at a very early age. In
only for seasons this high-class stallion managed to produce 7 approved stallions
and several top horses in international competitions such as Classic Touch (Olympic
gold 1992), Calgary (German Champion in 1990 and 1991), Caretino,
Classic Dream, etc. Caletto is a horse with a great deal
of class, a good model who excels at most things.
Peru, Landaris' grand-mother gave us Ladykiller xx. She
was active between 1965 and 1979. In her first season she produced eight
approved stallions (inclusing "Sieger stallions" Landrat, Laertes, Landsturm and Landgraf
I, Landaris' sir). This Ladykiller has become an expression
at Holstein. In fourteen years, he has produced 35 approved sons.
Landaris, winner of the Classic Cycle for 5-year-olds in 1994 is a
son of Landgraf I, of a wellknown mothers' line. Landaris has
the same blood as the Olympic Champion Classic Touch !! He has
already proven this at a very early age in sports |
